Etienne Locoh
Chief Executive Officer
Etienne Locoh is founder and CEO of the Urban Century Group. He also serves as Managing Partner for Infinity Urban Century and Urban Century Capital Partners, the firm's primary investment vehicles. Over the last 20 years, Mr. Locoh directed over $4 billion in real estate and energy related investments, including acquisition and development ventures, corporate recapitalizations, and private equity platform build-ups. A consummate financier and deal maker, he brings the firm and its subsidiaries deep insights into asset selection, deal structuring, and value creation. Mr. Locoh serves as a director on the board of several Urban Century Group investee companies or affiliates.
Prior to forming Urban Century Group, he was one of the founding members of Citigroup Property Investors North America, a private equity real estate fund management unit of Citigroup that was later acquired by Apollo Management L.P.. His duties included investing capital for the bank and some of its largest institutional investors. Mr. Locoh led a team focused on high yield private equity investments in real estate assets and companies across all property types in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. He served as board director for private investee companies and managed several key joint ventures of the CPI North America Fund.
Before joining Citigroup Property Investors, Mr. Locoh was vice president at JP Morgan Investment Management responsible for originating and executing value-added real estate investments on behalf of the JP Morgan Special Situation Property Fund.
Mr. Locoh received an MBA with a finance concentration from Harvard Business School, and an M.S. from Ecole d'Architecture Paris-La-Seine, with a major in architecture and a minor in urban economics. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and sits on ULI's Urban Mixed-Use Development Council. He lives in the New York metropolitan area, with his wife Suneeta and their three children.
